SM Prime, SMDC top off New Carmona City Hall

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. and SM Development Corporation (SMDC), in partnership with the City Government of Carmona City, marked the topping-off ceremony of the New Carmona City Hall on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The milestone signals the near structural completion of the new government complex, which is funded and developed by SM Prime and SMDC as part of the larger SM Carmona Central township project.

The new City Hall serves as the civic anchor of the master-planned estate and is envisioned to enhance public service delivery through modern facilities and upgraded systems. It is also the first phase of a broader mixed-use development that will include a transport hub, educational institutions, commercial centers, residential communities, and open spaces.

Company officials said the project reflects their long-term confidence in Carmona’s strategic location within the growth corridor linking Metro Manila and the Calabarzon region. City leaders, meanwhile, described the development as a major step toward strengthening governance and positioning Carmona as a rising urban center in Southern Luzon.

Once operational, the New Carmona City Hall is expected to improve efficiency, accessibility, and transparency in government services while supporting the city’s continued economic expansion.
