Laguna Launches First-Ever Event Expo with Strong Support from Provincial Leaders
CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — The province of Laguna marked a historic milestone in its events and celebrations industry with the official launch of the Laguna Event Expo 2025 on Friday, August 22, at the Calamba Tent.
Spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Laguna under the leadership of Governor Sol Aragones, and supported by various industry partners, the expo brought together businesses, creative professionals, and advocates in a unified push to establish Laguna as a premier destination for gatherings and celebrations.

In her message, Governor Aragones reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to strengthening the local events sector, noting its potential to drive tourism and economic growth.
“Ang Provincial Government po ng Laguna ay naka-suporta sa ating event sector. Tutulungan po namin kayo,” she said.
Echoing the governor’s statement, Grace Garcera, Head of Laguna Event Expo, emphasized the broader vision of the initiative.
“This is more than an event — it’s a movement with intent: uniting Laguna advocates to make Laguna the next Celebration Destination.”
Dr. Joji Juliano, CMC Group Events Head of Calamba Tent and one of the expo’s key venue partners, also underscored the long preparations that led to the successful launch and expressed confidence in the industry’s future.
“This is not the last; this is just the beginning.”



The event featured 76 exhibitors from various sectors including event management, tourism, business solutions, and creative industries. Attendees were treated to knowledge-sharing sessions, competitions, and cultural showcases aimed at fostering collaboration and celebrating local talent. Highlights included the Laguna Cake Artist Competition and a cultural performance by the Calamba City School for the Arts, which showcased the province’s rich heritage and artistry.



Beyond the festivities, the Laguna Event Expo 2025 served as a strategic platform for dialogue among government leaders, business chambers, tourism officials, and industry professionals. Discussions focused on innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth for the events sector.
With strong government backing and enthusiastic participation from private stakeholders, Laguna is now positioned to become one of the country’s most vibrant hubs for conventions, celebrations, and tourism-driven enterprises.
