MEKENI SHOWCASES ‘STREET FLAVORS’ AT ONE PAMPANGA FOOD EXPO

CLARK, PAMPANGA — Bringing Filipino street food to a more modern setting, Mekeni Food Corporation showcased its Street Flavors food cart concept during the One Pampanga Food and Beverage Expo 2026 held September 19–20 at the SMX Convention Center Clark.

Street Flavors offers ready-to-operate food carts featuring Mekeni products, designed for events such as corporate gatherings, school activities, birthdays, community celebrations, and other occasions.

Mekeni Food Corporation President Pruds Garcia said the concept aims to give consumers a familiar street food experience while adding convenience and a more premium presentation.

“We want to bring the street food experience to events in a way that feels more exciting, convenient, and premium, while still keeping the flavors that Filipinos know and love,” Garcia said.

Aside from catering to events, Street Flavors also provides a potential livelihood opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs through its food cart business model.

Garcia said the concept draws from the strong place of street food in Filipino culture while giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to build a business around Mekeni’s food products.

“Street food is deeply part of Filipino culture. Through Street Flavors, we want to give entrepreneurs an opportunity to bring that experience to more people while building a business of their own,” he added.

The concept is also intended to make Mekeni products more accessible to consumers through food carts beyond traditional retail channels.

Mekeni’s participation in the expo underscored its efforts to explore new business concepts and provide consumers with additional ways to enjoy its products.

Through Street Flavors, the company seeks to bring familiar Filipino flavors closer to consumers while giving street food a fresh and more event-ready experience.
