MANILA, Philippines — CARD MRI has been recognized by Kenya-based CIC Insurance Group for its contribution to expanding microinsurance and strengthening international cooperation in providing financial protection to underserved communities.

The recognition highlights the strategic partnership between CARD Mutual Benefit Association (CARD MBA), a member of CARD MRI, and CIC Impact, a newly established subsidiary of CIC Insurance Group.
CIC Impact focuses on providing accessible insurance protection to low-income families, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and workers in the informal sector.

Under the partnership, CARD MBA will share its technical expertise, operational systems, and established practices with CIC Impact. The collaboration will support staff development, digital technology integration, and the expansion of microinsurance services among vulnerable communities in Kenya.

“Our mission goes beyond the Philippines. By sharing our knowledge, we aim to help partners like CIC Impact deliver simple, affordable insurance solutions that improve lives,” said CARD MRI Founder and Chair Emeritus Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip.
