CARD SME Bank Marks 15 Years of Trust and Resilience in Mindanao
CARD SME Bank, a thrift bank under CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), marked its 15th anniversary on July 25, 2026, in General Santos City, bringing together more than 400 clients, partners, and employees for a celebration centered on resilience, recovery, and community solidarity.
Carrying the theme “15 Years of Commitment and Growth. Built with Trust,” the anniversary featured the Tindog KoLaGen: Padayon sa Pagbangon, Padayon sa Pag-Uswag program, which honored the strength of communities in Koronadal City, Lagao, and General Santos City following the earthquake.

CARD SME Bank staff and center chief clients in Mindanao performing their Pagbangon dance during the bank’s 15th anniversary, depicting their experiences and recovery from the recent earthquake.
One of the highlights was the Pagbangon dance performance contest, where client center chiefs and staff used dance to share stories of the earthquake experience and portray how mutual trust between the bank and the communities helped them move forward.
CARD SME Bank President Julius Adrian Alip reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to its clients and employees, emphasizing that the bank will continue supporting communities as they rebuild and recover.
Senior Management Adviser Cynthia Baldeo likewise highlighted the strong sense of solidarity she witnessed among clients and staff, saying their willingness to look after one another offered a meaningful example of what genuine trust looks like.
Celebrating its milestone in Mindanao underscored CARD SME Bank’s commitment to remaining alongside its clients—not only during times of progress, but also through difficult moments and community recovery efforts.
The bank continues to expand economic opportunities through microfinance services for socio-economically challenged individuals, business loans for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and savings products that include basic accounts and time deposits.
As of June 2026, CARD SME Bank operates 306 offices nationwide and serves more than 1.4 million clients, continuing its mission of building stronger communities through accessible financial services.
